Dr. Zummer receives David Johnson Award for Best Fellowship Research Presentation

Jaryd Zummer, MD, FACEP, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, recently presented his research project, Emergency Physician Performed Ultrasound-Assisted Lumbar Puncture in a Pediatric Population: A Randomized Controlled Trial at the 2019 Pediatric Emergency Research Canada (PERC) Annual Scientific Meeting and was selected to receive the David Johnson Award for the Best Fellowship Research Presentation. This award is for the presentation of important and original research displaying clarity, scientific strength, and clinical relevance to pediatric emergency medicine.

Dr. Zummer is currently preparing to have his research published.
