I was born in Seoul, Korea and lived in Palo Alto, Bowling Green, Miami, and D.C. I went to University of Kentucky for medical school, and took a year off in between 2nd and 3rd year of medical school to do a pathology student fellowship.
Through my five years as a medical student, I got to know the EM faculty well, and they’re seriously awesome and so committed to teaching. UK is a level 1 adult trauma center and level 1 pediatric ED, so there are a full range of pathologies with lots of high acuity patients. UK also has a strong ultrasound program, castlefest, and tons of research and teaching opportunities!
Some of my favorite things to do are hanging out with friends and family, playing with my dog, skiing, hiking, trying new food, rock climbing, and going to trivia nights. My two newest hobbies are are paint-by-number and playing catan with my board game crew.
