Daniel Moore, MD, Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, was selected for the 2019 ACEP Young Investigator of the Year Award for his podium presentation regarding his impressive Hepatitis C work, “Non-Targeted Hepatitis C Virus Screening In An Appalachian Emergency Department Identifies a High Prevalence of Infection Among Adult ED Visitors”.
Thousands of abstracts are submitted and hundreds are presented at the ACEP research forum, which is the largest Emergency Medicine research presentation venue in the country.
